DEAN JENNIFER RAMOS
As dean of Relay New York, Jennifer Ramos leads all aspects of teacher preparation for the New York campus and teaches core pedagogy to Year 1 graduate students. She believes that great teachers are made, not born. Most recently, Jennifer served as the assistant dean of Relay New York, managing and coaching faculty. Before joining Relay, she worked to increase teacher retention, leading efforts to redevelop how to support, evaluate, and compensate teachers at all levels of their careers at Achievement First and Green Dot Public Schools. Jennifer previously taught high-school biology and chemistry in North Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Now, after spending six years in New York, she and her family proudly call the city home. Ramos earned an EdM from Columbia Teachers College and a BS in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
