Relay’s AmeriCorps Application launched on July 15th for Residents who participated in Relay’s 2018 AmeriCorps program and July 22nd for Residents who are completely new to the Relay AmeriCorps program. If you were not included in your campus’ roster at that time, you have missed the application window.
The Relay AmeriCorps Team tracks application materials daily in order to calculate how many eligible applicants we have in each campus. If there are slots still open at your specific campus when the background check phase launches, a Relay AmeriCorps team staff member will work with your campus site supervisor to add additional applicants into the process.
Relay raises other forms of philanthropy in order to provide non-AmeriCorps members with an equivalent Relay Residency Scholarship. If you were not part of the AmeriCorps Application roster at your campus, you are not required to submit an AmeriCorps Application in order to receive the equivalent scholarship.
For those who receive the Relay Residency Scholarship, you will notice that a portion of your tuition is deferred when you receive updated financial package communication from Relay’s Student Financial Services Team in November. The Relay Residency Scholarship will be applied to cover the deferred portion of your bill upon completion of a full term.
