While times may be uncertain, we are inspired by your continued commitment to students and excited that you are moving forward with plans to teach. For many of Relay’s graduate programs, certification is an important step to becoming a great teacher. Here you will find guidance on pursuing certification.
What must I do in regards to certification before starting the Relay program?
If you are seeking certification with Relay, there are a series of milestones based on the state education agency’s certification requirements. You may read more about your state’s certification requirements, including the timeline of these milestones in the Relay State Certification Guides for each campus that can be found here.
All testing centers are currently closed. How do I take my certification test prior to starting the Relay program?
We have been notified from ETS and Pearson that their testing centers will be closed until April 16th. We are proactively reaching out to state agencies and keeping a close eye on all communication from them for next steps on certification testing related to COVID-19. Until we receive further guidance from states and you hear from Relay with updates, we encourage you to continue studying for your certification exams. If you have questions about how to cancel or reschedule a certification exam due to test center closures or personal circumstances, please see our ETS and/or Pearson Support Center articles.
Although we may not have all the answers to your questions and concerns, we want to know what’s on your mind so we can support you as best we can. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
