As of Monday, March 16th, Relay Philadelphia & Camden pivoted to online instruction in response to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak and to ensure graduate student learning is not interrupted. We also have temporarily closed our administrative office, though staff and faculty are continuing to work remotely.

FOR INCOMING CANDIDATES
Relay Admissions
The deadline to apply for Relay Philadelphia & Camden programs for the 2020-21 school year is July 1, 2020. More information about application deadlines can be found here.
Relay can only process complete applications. This means your official transcript and recommendation forms must be submitted. Please note that Relay is currently unable to receive hard copy transcripts. Please see here for information on how to submit your transcripts to Relay; see here for guidance if COVID-19 has impacted your undergraduate transcript or graduation date. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis.
Teacher Certification
Incoming candidates are expected to pass the appropriate certification exam(s) prior to the end of the summer term. Passing the state-required exam(s) is required to obtain a teaching license; it is not a requirement to be admitted into Relay.
We want to assure you that we are proactively reaching out to state agencies and testing companies for guidance related to testing requirements in light of COVID-19.
We have been notified by ETS – the company that operates Praxis exams – most testing centers are still closed, but some Prometric Testing Centers are open, and you can find more information about them here. You can reschedule your test at no additional cost; see here for more information.
We recommend that no Philadelphia candidate take the Praxis test online, as the PDE is not currently accepting those scores.
Please monitor updates on the ETS webpage for updates regarding Praxis testing center closures.
