The Academic Programs Guide and Academic Catalog indicate the set of courses that students must fulfill to complete Relay’s Master of Arts in Teaching or Advanced Certificate programs. Academic program requirements are set each spring term and are published in the Academic Programs Guide and Academic Catalog. Newly enrolled students will follow the academic program requirements published for the academic year in which they enroll at Relay.
A listing of the specific courses required for completion of Relay’s educator preparation programs, degree granting program, and advanced certificate programs can be found in the corresponding handbooks.
For students who were previously enrolled in a Master of Arts in Teaching or educator preparation program at Relay Graduate School of Education, reenrollment requirements will be determined based upon the student’s previous enrollment date and/or program of study. Relay updates our curriculum annually to reflect changes to teacher-preparation regulatory requirements and to continually improve our program offerings based on new research and practice in the field of education. When a student reenrolls at Relay, we review their academic record to ensure their program of study upon return fulfills the requirements of the Academic Catalog for their program that begins the academic year they return to classes.
All students will be assigned an advisor upon reenrollment. Any student who is reenrolling at Relay for any reason should consult with their advisor during reenrollment to better understand any changes in course and program requirements since their prior enrollment.
