OVERVIEW
Holding a teaching certificate or license is important for your professional career as an educator, and passing your teacher licensure exam(s) is one critical step towards obtaining your license. Relay is invested in our teachers obtaining licensure, and we are committed to supporting students with their licensure exams while enrolled in our program.
In an effort to better support our students, Relay is offering a four-week licensure exam preparation course for Relay students preparing for licensure exams in select states and endorsement areas. Classes will be led by an exam prep tutor and range in size from 3-20 students per class to allow for more individualized support. All tutors are content knowledge experts and certified PK-12 school leaders or teachers who are intimately familiar with the exam(s). In this course, students will review the exam framework(s), explore resources, and analyze dozens of test items aligned to the content assessed on the exam(s). Students will also discuss self-directed learning habits, research-backed study strategies, test wise practices, and strategies for overcoming test anxiety.
