How do I transfer programs or campuses at Relay?

Relay students are afforded the autonomy to transfer enrollment across Relay locations and/or programs, if they choose to. All location transfer requests must receive approval from The Registrar’s Office, The Office of the Provost of Teacher Preparation team, Student Financial Services, and the Certification team if applicable.

Students who wish to submit a location and/or program transfer request should submit a completed re-enrollment/transfer application two months prior to the start of the requested re-entrance term, but no later than:

  • The first day of that term if they are a continuing student

  • The census date of that term, if they are a newly admitted student (still in their first term at Relay)

Transfer applications will be evaluated based on the statement the student submitted in the application, their current placement school, outstanding financial balance (if relevant), academic standing status at the end of their last term of enrollment at Relay, and any state-specific requirements related to the student’s program. Additionally, because admissions requirements vary by program and location, students are encouraged to reach out to [email protected] for additional guidance on admissions requirements and certification/licensure implications. Please note that the application review process can take up to 3 weeks, and location/program transfers are not guaranteed.
