Accessing ACT Scores

The below directions apply to individuals who took the ACT in the spring of 2008 or later. If you took the ACT earlier than spring 2008, you will have to order and pay for your score report from the vendor.

NOTE: If you already have a score report (official or unofficial) in your personal records, you can upload that report to meet the basic skills requirement.

If you took the ACT in the spring of 2008 or after, your score report is on the ACT’s website.

  1. Go to: https://services.actstudent.org/OA_HTML/actibeCAcdLogin.jsp and enter your username and password. Forgot your username or password? Use the “forgot username or password” links under the Sign In button or contact ACT for additional support.

  2. Save your score report as a PDF. Click your score report and go to “Printer-Friendly Version”. Select “print” on your browser and choose “Save as PDF” as your printer option.

  3. Submit to Relay via the application portal.

If you forgot (or don’t have access to) the email address you used when creating your ACT account, you will not be able to retrieve your username and/or password without calling ACT. In this case, if you have access to a different score report (SAT, GRE, or Praxis Core), we recommend using that report. If you do not have access to a different report, you should call ACT.

If you forgot your username, password, and the email address you used when creating your College Board account:

  1. Create a new account here.

  2. Enter the same address and zip code based on where you lived when you took the SAT

  3. If College Board is able to match your information in their system, it will allow you to reset your password without having to log into the email address you used when first creating the account.

  4. Refer to the directions above on how to download your score report as a PDF and submit it.

Acceptable Unofficial Records

An unofficial record could include a picture, a screenshot, or a scan of your testing record. Unofficial records are considered acceptable as long as the record is clearly legible and contains the test name, your first and last name, your scores on individual test sections (i.e., reading, math, and writing), and the testing date.

Before submission, please check the document’s image quality. All of the information should be easy to read, and all pages/portions of the score report included. Ensure that the report is oriented correctly so it can be read without rotating the document. If you are taking a photograph of a score report, you may want to use a free document scanning app on your phone (i.e., Genius Scan, Adobe Scan) which automatically converts the picture to a PDF.

Please see a sample of an acceptable unofficial score report below:
