For applicants needing to submit a Praxis score as an admission requirement, you can use this link and schedule the Praxis. Failure to do so could impact your ability to get licensed and result in additional expenses.

 

Transition Point 1: Colorado Traditional Teacher Licensure Program 

Educator Preparation Program Admission

Relay Application - EPP Items Deadline: 

  • Summer Term Start: July 1, 2024

Deadline to Accept an Admissions Offer: 

  • Summer Term: July 24, 2024

Applicants for admission to the Colorado Traditional Teacher Licensure Program must demonstrate meeting the following criteria:

 

Bachelor’s Degree:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an institution of higher education that has institutional (formerly regional) accreditation through one of the U.S. Department of Education’s approved accreditation agencies: HLC, MSCHE, NECHE, NWCCU, SACSCOC, WSCUC. Verify your institution’s accreditation status on the Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs here. Applicants may submit “coursework in-progress” transcripts for the Relay application. An official transcript that demonstrates the bachelor’s degree has been conferred must be submitted no later than September 3, 2024.

 

Minimum GPA:

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale on all coursework previously attempted at an accredited institution of higher education from which the bachelor’s degree was conferred.

 

Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below the Relay minimum of 2.50 may apply to be admitted to Relay’s Colorado educator preparation programs via exception to Relay’s GPA policy who have:

  • Earned a 2.50 GPA in their last 60 credit hours of their undergraduate program, or
  • Earned a master’s degree or higher with a GPA of 2.50 or higher.

Applicants who do not meet the above criteria may be prompted to have a secondary recommendation submitted that will be used to evaluate their eligibility for admissions to Relay. 

 

Transition Point 1: Colorado Alternative Teacher Licensure Program

Deadline to Accept Admissions Offer: August 22, 2024

 

Applicants for admission to the Colorado Additional Endorsement Licensure Program must demonstrate meeting the following criteria:

 

Bachelor’s Degree:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an institution of higher education that has institutional (formerly regional) accreditation through one of the U.S. Department of Education’s approved accreditation agencies: HLC, MSCHE, NECHE, NWCCU, SACSCOC, WSCUC. Teaching License:
