Ed Support Scholarship
The application window is Dec 1 - May 15 every year.
Anticipated award announcement in July each year.
To apply, candidates must complete the online application AND file a FAFSA by the May 15th deadline.
Scholarship for full-time graduate students attending a Delaware public or private college who intend to pursue a career in education (in a classroom or as a specialist) in areas of need in Delaware schools. The award amount is $5,000 per year*. The award is not renewable, but recipients can reapply each year.
*Note: Contingent upon funding from the General Assembly and based on the size of the applicant pool, at least one student in each high-need educator and specialist field will be awarded a scholarship.
Redding Consortium Scholarship
Anticipated application window for AY25-26 is March 1 - June 30, 2025.
Anticipated award announcement by the end of July each year.

The Delaware Higher Education Office (DHEO), in partnership with the Redding Consortium Scholarship Committee, administers a scholarship for eligible employees or student teachers who are actively working in an eligible Redding Consortium School and wish to pursue a degree or credential in an education program.
Beginning with the 2024-25 academic year, applicants will submit one application before the start of the academic year they wish to enroll in coursework. Applicants will include all coursework & course fees planned for the entire academic year. Awards will not exceed $10,000 per applicant. All applications will be reviewed by a scholarship committee and will use a competitive review process.
ARTC Educator Excellence Funding
No candidate application required.
This program, sponsored by the Delaware Department of Education (DDOE), supports educators who are actively enrolled in an ARTC program. Once awarded this funding*, the DDOE makes a direct payment to the institution on behalf of the recipients.
*Note: The awarded amount varies from year to year.
Critical Need Reimbursement
The application is opened three times per year, typically the first two weeks of September (summer tuition), February (fall/winter tuition), and May (spring tuition).
This is a reimbursement for educators who hold an Emergency Certificate or a Certificate of Eligibility in a high-need area during the time coursework was taken. Awards are estimated at up to $1,300 for each course. A maximum of six credits can be reimbursed each academic year.
