To enroll at Relay, you must secure an instructional role with one of our partner schools in the state where your program is offered. Because our programs are practice-based, you’ll need to be physically working in that state while completing your Relay coursework.

Relay only operates in specific states. You can view where our programs are offered on our Learn About Relay - Programs offered in you State page.

What should you enter on your application?

During the admissions process, you’ll be asked to provide:

  • Your current address (Permanent/Mailing)

  • The state where you’ll be teaching

  • The state where you’ll be living while enrolled

If you’re in the process of relocating and don’t yet have a permanent address — that’s okay.

You’ll have opportunities to update your address later:

  • As an applicant: through the Applicant Update Form on your Status Page

  • As an admitted student: through the Student Record Update Form

If you’re planning a move and want to make sure your timeline aligns with program requirements, we’re happy to talk it through. Just reach out to us at [email protected].

We’re excited about your next chapter — and we’ll help you navigate the logistics along the way.
