  • Year 1: Must hold a co-teaching position
  • Year 2: Must hold a teacher of record position

Illinois Graduate Alternative Licensure Program

Students who are not seeking educator licensure in Illinois may also enroll in the Master of Arts in Teaching through the resident or non-resident pathway as a degree-only student. At the end of the program, you will receive an MAT, not a certification.
