What Are Transition Points?

During your time at Relay, you'll complete four transition points. Think of these as critical checkpoints that keep you on track toward fulfilling your requirements for certification.

Each transition point has its own requirements and a deadline. You'll need to complete the requirements on or before the deadline. Missing these deadlines can result in serious consequences, including unenrollment from Relay or loss of employment.

A Note About Your Certification Pathway

Relay is recognized as an approved, out-of-state educator preparation program in Colorado. You'll enroll in our Colorado Traditional Teacher Licensure educator preparation program, and upon completion, Relay will verify your program completion. You can then use this verification to apply for licensure in your home state. Each state sets its own requirements for certification, reciprocity, and equivalent endorsements, and will make all final determinations when reviewing your application.
