Relay students are professional corps members. This means your benefits are different from those offered in other AmeriCorps programs. In a professional corps program, members receive their salary and healthcare benefits directly from their employer rather than through AmeriCorps.

Additional benefits of a professional corps are:

  • Federal student loan forbearance,
  • National Service Trust will pay accrued interest on eligible student loans after successful completion of the term, and
  • Earn Segal AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful completion of a service term

*Relay's AmeriCorps members are not eligible for the childcare benefit offered by CNCS.
