Common Questions About Diplomas

After you complete your program, Relay issues a diploma confirming your degree. Below are answers to the most common questions about receiving yours.

In This Article:

When will I receive my diploma?

After you complete your program, you'll receive a program completion email from the Registrar's Office. Once you complete the address verification form included with that email, you're in the queue: the Registrar's Office orders diplomas once a month. After your diploma is ordered, it typically ships within 1–2 weeks.

You can check the status of your diploma at our diploma vendor, Michael Sutter, at michaelsutter.com/relay

If 6 weeks pass after you complete your diploma request or address verification form and you still haven't received your diploma, contact us at [email protected].

Why didn't I receive my diploma?

If you haven't received your diploma, the most common reason is an unresolved financial or academic hold on your account. You'll need to resolve any holds before we can release your eDiploma or physical diploma, unless your state or local regulations specify otherwise.

You can check your account balance here.

However, if you've received confirmation from the Registrar's Office that you've completed your program, don't have a balance, and still haven't received your diploma, complete our diploma request form to be included in our next mailing queue. Diplomas are ordered on a monthly basis and typically ship within 1–2 weeks of being ordered.

Note: While you're resolving a hold, you can still request an unofficial transcript and/or an enrollment verification letter.

How do I request additional copies of my diploma?

To check the status of your diploma or order additional copies visit our diploma vendor, Michael Sutter, at michaelsutter.com/relay. This includes eDiplomas.

Be aware that all holds on your account will need to be resolved before your request is processed.
