Relay celebrates students’ program completion with an annual virtual commencement ceremony and related activities. Program completion celebrations may include students completing degree-granting programs, Advanced Certificate programs, and/or non-degree-granting educator preparation programs. In order to be eligible to complete their program, all students must apply to complete their program in the term when they expect to complete all requirements. Students who do not complete the intent to complete form may have their program completion and associated documentation (e.g., transcript, diploma, etc.) delayed and will not be celebrated in commencement ceremonies. Details of individual program requirements are in the Academic Catalog.
Relay program completers with an outstanding balance may participate in the annual virtual commencement ceremony. Official proof of graduation or program completion, including eDiplomas, diplomas, and verification of educator preparation program completion and/or recommendation for certification/licensure, will be withheld for students until their outstanding balances have been resolved in full with Relay (unless otherwise required by applicable law). Students with an outstanding balance may request a transcript and/or an enrollment verification letter.
