Congratulations! You’ve successfully made it through the first year of your Relay program. Here is an overview of what you can expect and tasks to complete as you transition into your second year at Relay, beginning during the summer term.

AmeriCorps 

<if applicable>

Ensure you have completed all AmeriCorps Closeout items and release your education award to Relay

 

Headline #1: All required closeout items must be completed by May 24, 2024. Failure to complete the required items will postpone access to your Education Award (if eligible).

 

Headline #2: Students must release their award to Relay before July 3, 2024 

Certification 

<if applicable>

Check your progress toward Educator Preparation Program Completion

 

If you need to take a certification exam(s), visit our Licensure Exam Prep Site for resources to support your success.

Employment OR Instructional Role Changes

You must maintain a program-aligned instructional role within the geographic location that aligns with the campus you are enrolled in. Please be aware that changes to your instructional role may impact your Relay program (i.e. extended completion timeline, delayed certification, and/or additional tuition).

Student Advisor 

Your Student Advisor has likely remained the same; if not, your new Student Advisor will reach out to you by June 3rd. You can always email [email protected] to have your question directly routed to your Advisor.

Summer Registration & Coursework

Summer registration closes in MyRelay Portal on June 17, 2024. Please see Registration Windows and How to Register for Courses for more details.

  • You can view your summer class schedule on your My Relay Portal, accessible through your Myapps dashboard.

  • Instructors will be reaching out with welcome Announcements in Canvas two weeks before the start of class. 

  • Remember to check your Course Home page for details & Zoom links.
