ENGLISH

Students who take a leave of absence, withdraw, or are administratively dismissed, and have an outstanding balance still owed to Relay will receive communication of their financial obligations and required next steps.

  • Students will have 30 days after their withdrawal has been finalized to access, view, and pay any past-due balance through their original Nelnet portal.

  • Students who are past the initial 30 days of their finalized withdrawal, will receive a Nelnet invitation to their email address on file with instructions on how to access their withdrawn Nelnet payment portal account.

    • Once a student is no longer enrolled, their balance will not appear in the enrolled student payment portal as the financial options differ depending on enrollment status.

    • Students can set up their withdrawn Nelnet account using unique credentials and will then be able to view their statement, make a payment, or sign up for a 12-month payment plan.

    • If students need a payment plan beyond 12 months, please contact Student Financial Services at [email protected].

Please note: If students have not signed up for a payment plan or fully paid down their balance after 30 days of receiving the withdrawn email invitation, any active balance will be sent to collections.
