What are my financial obligations if I withdraw or am dismissed from Relay?

If you are considering withdrawing from your program, you should review the withdrawal and refund policies to determine your financial obligations upon leaving the

program. 

 

Nelnet Portal

Students will have 30 days after their withdrawal has been finalized to access, view, and pay any past-due balance through their original Nelnet portal.

  • Students who are past the initial 30 days of their finalized withdrawal, will receive a Nelnet invitation to their email address on file with instructions on how to access their withdrawn Nelnet payment portal account.

 

Federal Financial Aid Funds

If you receive federal financial aid( Direct Unsubsidized Loans and TEACH Grants), you may be required to return a portion of funds that have been disbursed to your account upon exiting the program. SFS will conduct an evaluation of federal financial aid that has been disbursed to date to determine the amount earned and any amount needed to be returned to the Department of Education. Los estudiantes tendrán 30 días.después su retiro ha finalizado para acceder, ver y pagar cualquier saldo vencido a través de su portal Nelnet original.

  • Los estudiantes que hayan pasado los 30 días iniciales de su retiro final recibirán una invitación de Nelnet a su dirección de correo electrónico registrada con instrucciones sobre cómo acceder a su retirado Cuenta del portal de pagos Nelnet.

 

Fondos de ayuda financiera federal

Si recibe ayuda financiera federal (préstamos directos no subsidios y subvenciones TEACH), es posible que deba devolver una parte de los fondos que se han desembolsado a su cuenta al salir del programa. SFS llevará a cabo una evaluación de la ayuda financiera federal que se ha desembolsado hasta la fecha para determinar el monto ganado y cualquier monto necesario para devolver al Departamento de Educación.
